sidelight bulbs

hi guys,just a quick one.i want to replace my candles,errr i mean sidelight bulbs.do i just need to get
5watt push fit bulbs oris there something more specific i should be looking for. going to try and do this today
so will probably try halfords for bulbs.cheers guys,tay.

get the led capless bulbs from any motor factor for about £3 - £5 pair
to fit simply undo the screw ontop of the indicator and pull forward the correct bulb is a 501 but they are dull the led are bright as you know what

Serious question - why would anybody want bright parking lights?

They compliment my blue (formerly) headlamps, and now quite suit my all weather headlight bulbs, the blue tinge compliments the purple tinge of my headlights... Like a fine red with dressed crab.

I guess i'm doing my bit for the environment too as they use less leccy.

But seriously, I guess they would make it much more practical to drive on sidelights only on roads where sidelights only is allowed. And being LED, there would be a useful energy saving over headlight usage?

Thanks Mike - I always think it's dangerous to drive on parking lamps only. They tend to "disappear" when you're being followed by one of those extra bright German headlamps.

Hope they are better than the ones I got from Ebay. Only lasted a couple of weeks in the sidelights, but the same still work ok as number plate lights.
