Engine tray

Post by phedders » Thu Oct 30, 2008 12:09 pm

Can anyone advise - got this coolant loss problem - wondering if it is safe / advisable to drive the bongo without the tray for a bit? It's going to be a pain taking it off, putting it back, taking it off, putting it back....

I ran with mine off for a couple of weeks after replacing hoses, other than the increased noise, it shouldn't be too much of a problem for a few weeks
There are people who don't have one at all, various arguments for & against - airflow, cooling, engine protection etc, I think it's better on than off in the long run.
You can't polish a turd - but you can roll it in glitter.
