An afternoon at Burrs Country Park, in Bury

Post by mobilecat » Mon Oct 20, 2008 5:18 pm

Sorry to those who have seen this in another thread but its a bit buried.

Its half term for minimc this week but hubbymc is working on 3 days, me on most of them and we cant get away so its day trips only.

Here are the photots from our trip to Burrs Country Park this afternoon. They are of course not up to muz standard.

We went exploring and found this;

Then we had a quick go in the park. Minimc had kept Florrie in his pocket during the walk so we thought she should have some fun too;

Next we went back to the bongo and had afternoon tea;

Topped off with a little radio music, reading and sticker book activity. Now most of you know that I dont usually post photographs of minimc on open forums but I thought I would break my rule this time and got him to post for this one as a special treat for you all;

Yes I was thinking about that when we there. I am not sure if I went past his house. We parked in the first car park and walked by the water up towards the campsite and then up to the top path by the water again and back towards the playpark. There were houses near the campsite.

well at the first car park there is a street and at the top are houses.

did you wak across a smaller bridge near the lake, well at the little bridge look up the path behind you and you would have seen them.
