Post by BongoJim » Thu Oct 09, 2008 6:09 pm

Hello Everybody

Has anyone removed their front bumper ? If so could you let me know where all the fixing points are or if you have a set of photo how you did it that would be great.

Thanks

on the front of the bumper in the middle vent hole you will see a bolt at either side (level with the bottom of the number plate). there is also a nut on the inside level with these but slightly further towards the outside of the car. where the bumbper meets the wing in the wheel arch there is a 8mm headed screw on either side.at the bottom there is a support bracket below the foglights (this is a bolt in a captive nut on the bracket expect this to snap, grind the nut off and replace with a nut and bolt on re-assembly). three 8 or 10mm headed screws under the front edge.if you have foglamps the wiring will also need unplugging.
