Hi

Does any one know where to get a new set of the thin spring clips for the front brakes. I think they may be called shims.

Regards

Ian

Do you mean the spring clips that hook into the holes on the pads and push the pad off the disc or the metal shims that fit on the pads?

Hi

Located in Lyme Regis. Now in profile.

The metal shims that fit on the pad. I had a horrible noise and my local garage found a broken shim caught in the brake assembly.
They took it out but now I get a squeak from the brakes all the time until I apply them.

Regards

Ian

Try applying a smear of copperslip to the back of the pads
