DEAD BONGO (battery??)

Post by bongomike » Mon Sep 08, 2008 8:59 pm

Just come back from Hols and the bongo wouldn't start also there are no lights on the dash, my bongo has 2 batteries which i'm 99% sure they are just the standard sort and not a leisure battery. Is it possible to just buy 1 new battery and disconnect the other and get a leisure battery at a later date? if so what do I do to the wires from the disconnected battery
:(
cheers

Yes - fit the new battery on the driver's side and insulate the positive lead on the passenger side.

You will find that the mere resolve not to be useless, and the honest desire to help other people, will, in the quickest and delicatest ways, improve yourself.
