Repairing Heater Resistor

Post by jigill » Fri Sep 05, 2008 9:27 pm

Hi Everyone,
I have just repaired my heater resistor using the factsheet. Thought I would let you know that I didn't have to remove the top plate or drill out the rivets. I was able to resolder the joints through the side opening using an electric soldering iron. 30 mins from start to finish. Good times.

That's the ones we like, well done. :D
Take a torch, toilet roll, and tea bags.

Just done mine as well jigill, and as you say there is no need to take it apart! It can be soldered through the sides with no trouble at all. Well done. =D>
