Hi all,
Hope this is the right site to post my question.
I have read carefully the fact sheet that Ian kindly sent me and now I understand what the young people in the stores were trying to say. It wasnt the seats but the lap seat belts that were in the wrong. Now I need to know where can I get my lap belt shortened. Do I take it to someone special or local garage do. Its all so new to me as I have never had an older car before.

Re: seat belts
Try Coburns behind Imperial that valet & strip the vehicles before Imperial get their hands on them if Imperial can't help. They may be able to point you in the right direction if they can't help.
You can't polish a turd - but you can roll it in glitter.
Re: seat belts
Thank you Kirsty will get on to them tomorrow.

Hi Kisty,
Did as you suggested and went to garage and they said they didnt do anything like that but as the people who did the mot further down said dont worry just wrap it twice round underneath and then put seat in and it wont move as they are set to take 10 tonne strain. So who am I to worry any longer my grandson doesnt weigh that much yet anyway.
Thank you once again for trying to help your suggestion did give me piece of mind.
