Ripped roof!

Post by francofontain » Mon Aug 04, 2008 3:45 pm

Ive somehow managed to trap the lower half of the roof in the raising mechanism and its ripped a 3-4 inch hole into it!
Would sewing it with nylon thread then a water-proof tape/patch do? Also needs to be neat as were selling up to a newer :D

Cheers

If you try a 'search', there's lots of info about this on the forum. This link may help: http://www.igmaynard.co.uk/bongo/forum/ ... t=rip+tent Nylon thread is nearly invisible and would work if there is sound material to sew to. A line of 'invisible' seam sealant may also do the trick.
Allans Garage retired. Try PGS (Plymouth Garage Services) or Mayflower Auto Services Plymouth
