Re: pulling away
Do you have twin batteries fitted searchers? Not a leisure battery, the cold climate set up.

A couple of questions:
1. You aren't referring to the 3rd to 4th gear lockup that only works when warm?
2. Are you running with a high percentage of veg oil?

Re: pulling away
may be worth checking the banjo filter as per the factsheet in the members area & maybe check the drain on the fuel filter & possibly change it if it hasn't been done in the last year. Is there any smoke or any other symptoms?
You can't polish a turd - but you can roll it in glitter.

Thank you all for your quick replies

Re: pulling away
Thanks searchers, i was thinking that perhaps the flap in the exhaust could be faulty, and sticking slightly (when left overnight), then a bump in the road could have opened the flap again...
You don't have the cold climate twin battery set-up, so no flap in the exhaust.

Re: pulling away
Hmm, on second thoughts....
Have you got a switch next to the "rear" switch, with a picture of an engine on it?
It's just possible you HAD the cold climate set-up originally? And the second battery has been removed, the wiring removed, but the original exhaust left in place?
I know it's a long shot....

Re: pulling away
thanks
with the battery setup i had to make my battery tray as none had been fitted before, (paint on tread holes)
it seem to build up pressure and then its ok only about 10 to 15 seconds
if i dont pull on the handbrake or footbrake it just seems like clutch slip but the revs dont build once its moving its ok
