I've got a fine film and floaty bits in my coolant.
there's no coolant loss and the oil is fine.
I had Two core plugs changed a while a go and new coolant .
is this likely to clog things up, is it a symptom of something else and is there a remedy?

If you have no other symptoms other that dirty coolant, i'd replace it, then keep a close eye on things....

The core plugs are pretty cheap but hard to find. I got mine from Bongobits for a couple of quid each. I would recommend checking them all and changing any with signs of rustmayk19 wrote:Matt, can't help you but out of intrest how much did it cost to have the core plugs changed ? ta,
because otherwise they keep popping in order of weakness and it becomes very tedious.
Price? A mate did mine and no money changed hands. I would say a couple of hours labour and a bottle of coolant should cover it. Or do it yourself. Pop them out with a flat screwdriver and tap the new ones in with a bit of locktite just make sure they go in straight.
If you have problems getting the plugs i've got a couple left over.
