)
just wondered if anyone had some instructions from another kit or some kinda plan so i can match up wires and get some idea
thanks!

is it an intellegent one or alternator one. if its the former its easy to fit. red wire from starter bat to the relay then across to lb and and earth to the chassis from the lb. thats it basically. what rating rely did you get.pm me with some more info and i can help you through it.btw if its and alternator one then you will need to get another one as this can cause problems with the dashboard warning lights.

If it's a voltage sensing relay then here's the diagram you need

What kind of relay do you have?

karl, i gave out my mobile number to him so i didnt really want to broadcast that on an open forum.
there is enough infomation on split charge relays on here but the specifics can be different to each kit. ive fitted 5 to different vehicles and everyone been different. plus also i didnt want to get shot down in flames if i got one bit wrong.
this was the reply from pm so far
hi,thanks for your reply,it is an intelligent one and came off a bongo!its rated for 100 amps,will it be ok with my 110 lb?
thanks for your help
the idea with giving him my mob is also that you know yourself this could go into a few pages if we have to keep passing scraps over here, a lot faster to talk him through the whole process over the phone. if he gets stuck then it could take a while before we get a reply on open forum, meanwhile hes stood in the rain holding 2 +ve ends.
sorry for the rant, must be time of the month.
ps ive just seen the diagram and walkthrough, why do people insist on fitting such c**p relays. they are only rated at 30amp and last two minute, next thing you know the contacts have fused and you cant start the van due to a flat battery.

It was just a pointer to the circuit diagram timmyt asked for, the information is still correct. No one is insisting he fits that particular relay, he already has his relay. You just need to make sure that the other componet parts of the circuit are rated accordingly, that is also stated in the article.
