Tempture sensor
Would any one tell me if half hour labour at £35 would sound right to have the replacment water sensor on the dash (which i have) sound about right? he seemed unsure.

Re: Tempture sensor
hmmn, cant say as its an easy job to replace, but if your temperature sensor is getting replaced i think your coolant system will need bleeding after:? someone else will be able to clarify.

Re: Tempture sensor
When you say 'on the dash' - do you mean replacing the temperature gauge on the dashboard, or the sensor in the cylinder head? I reckon he could replace the sensor with minimal loss of coolant if he stuck his finger in the hole quick enough! However, I think I would recommend bleeding it to be on the safe side (using one of methods found on the forum)
