V6 AUTO
Hope this doesnt sound like a stupid question but does the V6 auto have 4 gears same as diesel??. Mines only done 25k and is immaculate drives like a dream and when driving can hardly feel some of the gear changes (unless kicking down for overtaking). Its not revving any higher then a normal car on motorway ie 4k ish at 80ish from memory so assume its going into top gear.
Re: V6 AUTO
Hi,
I'm sure there all 4 gears as V6 would need them more than diesel but not certain....
My V6 is the same and the gear change is not noticeable. It does 80 at 3500 revs on motorway though.
In town 0-30mph is achieved without hardly any pressure on accelarator and you almost have to brake to keep within 30 limit.
Enjoy your smooth driving

Re: V6 AUTO
Hi,
To count your gear changes watch the rev counter.
From a standing start press the loud pedal halfway, and keep it there.
Watch the rev counter, see how many times it drops back, should be four times
You might think,WOW,a five speed box,WRONG.Thats the TQ clutch locking up.
Hope this makes sense to you,the V6 is a very Smooooth and quiet and an excellent choice.
