Sounds like the water pump gone, try a search, or wait for a fellow sufferer to happen along :(

Beat me to it Missfixit!!

The water pump pulley is the top one along from the alternator, Seems easy enough to replace, no specialist tools required AFAIK. As Missfixit says try searching using...... water AND pump

best of luck

Are you paid-up members? if so there is a good wee fact sheet in the members area, on how to replace pump etc.

If you have to use the bongo in the mean time, it may be an idea to carry a few litre bottles of water/coolant with you just in case D D & K....

Its your water pump, replace it as soon as you can.

If you are having to top up the header tank and you can see water coming from behind the top pulley wheel at the front of the engine block, its definitely a new water pump job.

cheers, hope that helps, same happend to me, new rad & head before I worked out it was the water pump.

Think a new one was around 50 pounds, same as the mazda b series, haven't lost a drop of water since I changed it.
