It's on the drivers side of the engine, small pipe that runs along the top of the engine & feeds into the air inlet manifold, the actual valve is toward the rear, the inlet to the valve comes around the back of the engine from the rear of the turbo via a 36mm connection. Do a search on "egr AND Removal" or "egr AND blanking", there's photos on here somewhere

There's loads on here about it (including pics) - it's on the driver's side of the engine and hides the back 2 glow plugs.

Check out lush projects for a schematic, 20-300 is the egr valve, the large threaded connection on the bottom right is the connection to the rear of the turbo.
