roof problems.

i am having problems lifting my roof.i haven't used the roof space for around 5 months and now it won't lift at all..could it be the fuse? if so which fuse is the roof one? thanks

Before investigating further, have you checked the obvious? The handbrake must be on before the roof will go up.

I sometimes suffer this. Mine seems to have a bit of an erratic switch under the handbrake. Dropping it & yanking it up again eventually makes it work.

yeah i've tried handbrake stuff and without the engine running to hear if the motors are running!

30 amp fuse, second row down, fourth from left. But I'm with Mistermunkey, I reckon it will be the switch at rear of handbrake.

if it's the hand brake the light on the dash wont come on
