carrying canoe's

does anyone carry canoe's on bongo
want to buy a rack and carry probably 2 sit on top perceptions
so each canoe is around 20kg's

would the bars from ava for 80 quid do
and then some jar bar's or verticals or ?

I have an AFT and use Thule 420 feet and 2 m wide bars for 6 creek boats. The benefit of this is there is no real weight limit as they are supported on the gutters, the downside is you cannot raise the roof! you certainly would not need 2 m bars, 120cm - 140cm I think would be ample. My mate Ritchie has the bars that connect to the AFT roof via the threaded holes, he can carry 2 kayaks no problem, just don't lift the whole lot whilst raising the roof, so 2 sit - on - top kayaks would be easy.
