It would appear from the Parts Catalogue that the V6 part numbers for both front and rear brake pads are different than for the diesel Bongo. Yet AVA, ourselves, and Bongobits have all been selling standard WL-T brake pads to V6 owners for the last 6 months without any adverse reports.
Andy at AVA concludes that the pads for the diesel Bongo are "more-or-less" the same as those for a V6, and perhaps have a different leading edge or grip. If in doubt, order genuine Mazda originals (£80 + VAT per set).
