Noticed yesterday that speed bumps had got noisier again & the handling felt distinctly iffy, when I checked, my suspicions were proved correct, the second of my original anti roll bar brackets had snapped

. The first one went a couple of months ago, replaced it with a homemade one as mot was next day, ordered a new pair, but hadn't got around to fitting them. So half an hour later job done

The homemade one was still doing fine, will hang on to it as an emergency spare

Don't think I'd have trusted the homemade one long term , I'm sure the new ones will last at least another 12 years

they definitely don't look inferior to our bent piece of scrap metal, but it did it's job

Do you have to have the van on a ramp to change the bracket and bush, I have ordered a pair of bushes and brackets for mine and wondered how easy it was to do and what tools are required

Just put mine on drive on ramps on the drive, wd40 or similar to pre soak your nuts a few hours before, 19mm socket I think, that should be it, You may need some fine emery if your bar has any corrosion, mine was ok. I had to use a g clamp to help pull the bar back into position on the broken one where it had dropped a bit. Other than that dead simple

I'd change them all then while you're at it Cheffy, you'll only be under there again in a few weeks/months if you don't
