Hi everyone on here i my name is scott my wife is nicci and we have two little boys one three year old called remmi and one 6 week old called ozzie. We have not yet purchased our bongo but will be purchasing one in the next couple of months fingers crossed. I have been looking around for something to buy that would cover everything we wanted and the bongo is just perfect and they seem fairly well priced for what you get and the condition they are in. I then stumbled across this site which i have not been able to tear myself away from it is full of so much good information and knowledge of bongos which i am glad of having at this time when i am about to purchase my first bongo. Anyway we live in kendal in the lake district and have seen quite a few bongos about in the area which i have been trying to have sneaky looks at so if you own a bongo and have been in kendal and some funny man has been eyeing up your bongo that was probably me. We look forward to our up coming purchase and look forward to meeting fellow bongo owners on some of the meets. Scott Nicci Remmi and Ozzie

Hiya scottb, Nice introduction and welcome to the Forum...good innit ! :D

Don't worry about staring at Bongo's...most people do...either in amazement, awe, disbelievement or pure jealously ! :D ...or fear of the unknown

Thanks for that i thought i would just give a little introduction for all in the north west group. allthough one thing i did leave out is that i am not from kendal i have only lived here for 8 months we originaly from essex. I didnt want to turn up to a future meet and people look at me funny cos they are excepecting to hear a northern accent LOL as all you will hear is an east london/essex accent. I am definatly keeping my eyes peeled for the right bongo it is just so hard trying to find the right one from the right person. I have been looking on ebay and there semms to be a lot available that look good but it may be a risk buying on there. i think in the end i will end up buying from a member that advertises on this site that way it should turn out ok fingers crossed.

Hi Scott - welcome. We are in Milnthorpe so if you fancy a closer look at our bongo rather than sneaking around it in Asda/Morrisons car park just PM us! I noticed somebody yesterday having a good stare. I am in Kendal a lot so maybe you have seen me in my white '96 N. Don't be a stranger - make yourself known. (even though you are a southerner - JUST KIDDING!)

Yeah know what you mean there scott. I'm in Cardiff with the Welsh lot, but originally from yorkshire (hence northerntaff  ) , my accent is significantly different to the welsh accent...to say the least ! :)
