Bongo Standard Alarm?

Post by wokewy » Mon Mar 24, 2008 4:15 pm

Managed to set off what appears to be a standard fit alarm on my bongo whilst camping the other day. Can anyone tell me if all Bongos have a fitted alarm (and instructions how to activate and deactivate) or is it something to do with the raising and lowering of the roof as that is what I was fiddling with at the time. Cheers all.

the bongo beeps while the roof is raised and lowered if thats what you heard
it also beeps when you open the door with the keys in or leave the lights on and also when you put it in reverse if its an auto.

the roof has a beep as you raise and lower it , this stops as it gets to its full height or when is being lowered.
Lost without my Bongo.

Sorry should of made my self clearer. It was not the usual beeping but a fully fledged car alarm going off. Certainly drew attention to the bongo though
