My beast has the slide type heater controls and one of the bubs has blown, anyone know where i can get a replacement? ive seen a few threads on here but they seem to be for bongos with the climate control.

How did you get the heater control unit out? undo the three metal slide control rods and use ford radio keys? Mine seems to be caught on something behind dash , it releases but comes out a cm then stops..any ideas Cheers

heater bulbs

Hi
To remove the heater controls (Manual aircon), look at the heater in the footwell, and you will see a cable with a round clip at the end on the side of the heater box...relese the cable . Do this each side, and there is enough slack to pull the unit out sufficiently to change the bulbs. The clips at the side must be released with a U-shaped radio key.
Cheers

No need to undo the rods - Helen has it right, though I had to remove the fresh/recycled air flap control cable as well.
