New Recruits to the NorthWest/Yorks Section

Post by Bongoplod » Tue Feb 19, 2008 5:30 pm

Some of you may recall meeting my daughter Lynsey and future son in law Neil at the Winsford meet (They won the roof matress, donated by
JAL, in the raffle). They came along as they like camping and have been interested in Bongos since i bought one ,but couldnt consider a purchase until their car was paid for in January.

They came along to RoosterUK`s birthday bash at Ainsdale last Saturday
and amongst those Neil spoke to was Bigdaddycain, who showed them some photos, on his phone, of an apparently mint (ive not seen it) AFT at
Wheelquick in Wigan.

Well,Neil went to a car dealer on Sunday morning, sold his Rover and
went to see Mike...AND THEY`VE ONLY GONE AND BOUGHT IT.
Mike even threw in a tent,2 sleeping bags,(all new) a cooker and electric hook up and bits and bobs to get them started......what a guy.Hes also repairing a scratch on tjhe bonnet and tinting the windows, and they are
hoping to collect it this weekend.

They look forward to becoming fully fledged members of the club and the forum and Neil says he will post some photos then......so give `em a warm Bongo welcome when they do.

Excellent - they wont be dissappointed with a MikeMobile as I call mine. Mike had to have mine partly resprayed due to sun damage and it came out really really well - he has an excellent paint guy.

Fantastic news Brian, and welcome Neil and Lynsey. With luck, it'll be the best decision you've made in years (it was for me 8) )

Another one to potter up and down our estate, feel free to call in if you require any help with ......

Coolant Temp alarm
Coolant level alarm
Vehicle alarm
Parking senors

etc, etc....

Hello and welcome to the mad house.

I can only echo what others have said about the Bongo.

Its all true ...they are addictive so be carefull .

Rooster is a great guy I'm working my way down his list of jobs to do .

I have offered to fit his alarm and parking sensors

But for some reason he laughed ? :?

Enjoy
