I have fitted Haydn's coolant alarm about a couple of months ago, and it gives me piece of mind , must admit i am not one for checking everything all the time.
The other day i have had my hoses changed so the coolant had to be dropped , changed and then bled. as some of you know the engine has got to be running and the heaters back and front full on when full of water to open the thermostat .so you can get rid of the air bubbles in the pipes.
And i must admit it was nice to hear the alarm telling me it was low on coolant, so i know Ive fitted it correct and the bloody thing is working .

I had my hoses fitted the week before dave's.
I realized from prior experience that there is a drop in coolant level following a change/bleed session.(after standing overnight)
There was my alarm, the following morning, bang on cue...letting me know i was on the minimum mark on the expansion tank....

coolant alarm
Hi
They're great, aren't they....it's nice to have peace of mind, or in my case a "piece of mind".....and it's another beep to add to the chorus....reverse, door open keys in, headlights on, low coolant, and oil pressure on the TM2....I wonder if it's possible to play a tune???

In the beginning there was nothing , then God said "Let there be Light".....There was still nothing , but ,by crikey, you could see it better.
A chap by the name of Victor Davies once wrote a piece called 'Concerto for Car Horns and Orchestra'. Perhaps we could commission something.....I wonder if it's possible to play a tune
