Did we find out whose portaloo that was.
I can't remember the name of the guy that picked it up from the middle of the site to dispose of it, but it was dripping and running everywhere, we were in bulk laffin and run a mile when he came near.

I hope you changed yer trousers before you got into yer Bongo....yer name wasn't Pee was it....lol

the guy carrying (the the left in the middle of the field portaloo) was Kawasaki kid .good all round guy, helped me clean up first thing sat morn after hurricane harry.

I know conditions were difficult but this littering is not good

I thought Bongo folk were clean tidy people ...not dont want it.... dont need it.... so leave it.

just a genuine mistake, they did leave in a hurry and it was dark

i think they got sight of DBO fancy dress costume

Waynes's right. Poor old MC wrote and apologised as soon as they got home, before she'd even got her muddy boots off. I think even considering Buxton in that weather for a first Bongo outing was courageous. We ought to cast a Buxton Cross medal, to be be worn with pride only by those who were there, stood side by side in the wreckage of Fort Marquee at Buxton's Rift, fighting off the ferocious Element Tribe while wearing fancy dress. This legendary action will be forever talked about, and the heros revered, wherever Bongonuts meet to remember and give thanks to the early pioneers of Bongo

Did anyone manage to keep the portaloo for MC? Mine cost over £30 - I'd be unhappy to lose it.

Dave the plates (2) was found in the marquee and i put them on the table with all the other lost property on Sunday morning , by Sunday dinner the table was empty, so sorry do not know who took them , or even if they were dumped.

If they have another fancy dress in Buxton in December again , i will be away that weekend (whichever weekend it is ).
Don't get me wrong it was a brilliant weekend eventually. but i don't like being COLD.

It did have its advantages did squeezing the Bongo between two trees near the entrance!!!

At least no one knocked me up at 1 in the morning to sort the marquee out

I'm sorry you were dissapointed but not half as dissapointed as we were to be in the position of trying to get a blue child and ill adult home whilst packing up in the dark. It wasn't deliberate as I went to a lot of trouble to source it and could have fixed it. I certainly cant afford to replace it. I also had to leave my red tracks that had been very useful for everyone there because someone left them in the mud and I could not find them in the dark but Hatris has been amazing and managed to retreive them for me. I have had them for 14 years and certainly wouldnt have left them if I could have avoided them. Things dont alway go to plan - and this weekend was one of those thing I'm afraid.

Just to confirm as in the other post - the loo contained two wees thats it and it wa the clean water tank that was leaking. Nothing nasty.
