To RedEx or not ?

Post by BongoGH » Fri Aug 31, 2007 9:36 pm

Is this a reccomended thing to do. I have had the van for a week, runs really well but was wondering if its been standing around for a while at the docks it might benefit ? or not. If so what would be better than Redex ??

It can't do any harm, but I didn't find it did anything to mine. Mine seems to be running better now that I've been using veggie oil for a while.

Try a good dose of proper biodiesel (NOT 100%, better to use 20% blend max). That will clean everything out, and will quickly block the fuel filter from all the crap out of the tank, so be prepared to change it after a couple thousand miles or sooner.

Works for me, and still going strong after three years and close to 30k miles.
