Help needed from the BFPS

Post by francophile1947 » Tue Jul 24, 2007 2:45 pm

Hi all
I've now got a footrest from Little Movers, but they always put the bolts back in the van - does anybody know the size of bolt required to fit my seat/footrest?

Thanks Mike - I've already got the footrest - just need the bolt size/thread so I can fit it.
Thanks ebygum32 - that would be useful.

Franco take the footrest to a engineers merchant, they will tell you the thread size, plus some vehicles use metric fine threads

Can you wait 15mins?? I'll go and take one out and measure it, thread length and pitch.

Ok folks here we go. The original bolts are actually a thread cutting screw. However an 8mm 1.25mm pitch bolt is fine (I tried it) You will need a bolt that has 25mm of thread under the head. You will also need a flat washer of 15-20mm diameter. If you pm me I'll post some tomorrow, got thousands at work!
