Rear Screen Wash electrical problem

When I twist the stick the rear wiper goes but no water comes out. I have tried this with the bonnet open and there is no motor noise so I guess the motor is duff or there's a bad connection.
I can't actually see the pump because the second battery is in the way. Has anyone got any experience of fixing this problem?

I had my washer bottle out yesterday for a different problem. I have submitted a post on how I got it out. See 'smelly washer bottle'.

when you do the first "twist" it turns on the rear wiper

, but then do another twist and hold, then i do a quick boogie and all is well with the world

I have a similar problem on the Bongo i bought 2 weeks ago.
My rear wiper works, and i can hear the pump when i try to squirt water, but nothing comes out.
I'll get round to having a look at it one day

Several solutions/probs spring to mind
1. If you operate the switch and you can hear the washer motor then this would indicate a broken pipe between the washwer moter on the back screen outlet...symtoms+ damp ceiling..water being pumped into ceiling cavity.
2. Operate the switch..nowt comes out if nozzle...dry ceiling = nozzle blocked or pipe disconnected at motor.
3.
No motor sound...motor broke or fuse gone.
Remedy ... check/replace fuse then replace motor (on back of washer bottle.)...any washer pump will do...just tape it into place.
good luck
H
Thanks

Looks like I have a job to do on Saturday morning. Battery out, battery tray out and tray support out and then I can get to it.
Thanks for your help. I think if its knackered I will fit a standard one from the local car shop.
Cheers
