Number plate lights

Post by tmrober » Sun Jun 24, 2007 5:26 pm

Hi fellow bongonauts,
Ihave a problem!
Both the number plate lights on my Freda have stopped working. I have checked the bulbs and they are ok. Checking with a meter there is no power at the connector by the hinges to the rear door.
Has anyone had the same problem?
Is there a separate fuse these lights?
Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeelp :(

Tim,
I'm not sure if there is a separate fuse but there is a picture of the fuse box in the members area with details of which does what.
If not a fuse then I'm afraid you will just have to go from the back to the front with a tester, a real pain I know but I cannot think of any other way. Someone else with more electrical knowledge may be able to help. Funny they should both go.
Best of luck.

Could the wire or wires be part of the dreaded loom thru the drivers pillar, I would check these out as well. Good luck, happy motoring.
