Oil pressure

Post by dandywarhol » Fri Jun 15, 2007 5:09 pm

Can anyone with a workshop manual please help me to find out what engine parts (apart from the main components, crankshaft etc.) rely on oil pump pressure.

I've always had an annoying "tick" (haven't recently been in long grass  ) from the engine during warm startup until the oil lamp goes out. It sounds so like a hydraulic tappet ticking but since the WL engine has manual valve adjustment then it can't be that :?
