You should hear it come on, if not lift up driver seat, you should find sensor on top of engine behind the handbrake, unplug clean contacts and re -insert. Scavenger fan will come on when engine bay becomes warm

Put a paper clip into said contacts - that'll bypass the sensor and the fan should come on. :)

Just been testing my scavenger fan,the sensor is a black plug under centre consul, just unplug it, switch ignition on and it should start to work after a few seconds, your heater plug light will probably flash on/off until you plug it back in to the sensor,i didn't need to use a paper clip on mine,so sensor must work opposite way :D

I thought I'd try the scavanger fan test method - unplugged the sensor wire and the fan DIDN'T come on :? ..........I connected the wires with a paperclip and the fan came on - removed the paperclip and the fan stayed on  until I reconnected the terminals to the sensor...................weird things these Bongo electrics
