Post by stulegg » Wed Apr 04, 2007 5:42 pm

HI all. . .

I've got some alloys and have been asked what the PCD is. Being a 5 stud wheel I cant measure it accurately so I wondered if anyone here knows it. . . cheers. . . stu. ..

Your 'flu is causing mild delirium Harry

You can make sandals out of BF Goodrich tyres, but my experiments with trying to make tyres out of BF Goodrich sandals failed miserably (specifically where I used Evostick to try and join the old sandals together).

Next I tried using the kids party ballons - 6 ply, one balloon inside the next etc. This was more promising, and although the ride was a bit uneven, and I had to use velcro (I have plenty) glued around the perimeter to make them tread legal, they worked fine until I took them off the prototype kiddie car and put them on the 2 ton Bongo, where they failed as soon as I lowered the wheel off the jack. I'm currently working on an idea involving old garden hose, compressed air and rubber bungs. Hope to report on that in the fullness.

Hope this clears the mess off the road so we can get the traffic moving again
