Steering wheel query

Post by Faff » Sun Mar 25, 2007 11:30 pm

Definitely my last question for today - the steering wheel on my Bongo isn't quite right in that if you're driving in a straight line, the wheel isn't quite at 12 oclock. Almost, but not quite, which is a bit irritating as you can't see the stalk on the right hand side of the steering column. How easy is it to correct this as it has an inbuilt air bag?
Thanks, Chris.

Simple answer is DON'T!!! - get it done a a garage - airbags are very dangerous if you don't know what you are doing - even garages are supposed to keep them in steel boxes when off the vehicle.

That,s a good enough excuse to get the tracking done... If the steering wheel aligning bracket is used, then the steering wheel will be bang on central when travelling in a straight line...

If its tracking is it something the local Kwik Fit could sort out then?
Thanks, Chris
