Kath & Ian wrote:Psssst, We have a marquee that can be used anytime (even if we are not going to one of the meets, if someone could pick it up it's no problem). I am taking this to Buxton . Still, we won't mind putting money in kitty to get another.

:D

Kath
Just thought I'd add a picture of marquee to see if this is ok with everyone :D Image.

If it's not just say...........I won't be offended :D The trimmings may even still be on in part lol

Neil and I will contribute too, DBO. You have a pm. Seems a great idea as the meets just would not be the same without a gathering point, with or without rain, lol. :D

Just an update so far,,I have received though the post up to today wed 7th nov cheques to the value of £220.00
There may be more due, there are about 6 bongoers who said will send a cheque through post. (IF YOU HAVE NOT ,GET A MOVE ON)
And there are about 7 bongoers who said they will pay at buxton.

SO IF EVERYONE PAYS WE WILL HAVE A GRAND TOTAL OF £350.00:shock:

I have purchased the marquee from costco ,two lights and ratchet tie downs (just in case its windy) total £171.00 :D

Harrys marquee will cost £160.00. so grand total of £331.00

Mike (dreamwarrioruk) is going to get the electrics sorted (hook up) so the rest of the money will be to pay for his leccy work. :D

I hope this meets with all your approval. :D

There are a few other bongoers who may yet donate ,we will see. :?
