do you have rear heater? check that! need to go under car at right in the middle and look... do you dont have antifreeze in exhaust sistem? lean your hand at smoke and than lick... if it will have "sugar tast" - head is crushd...

I have had the same problem loosing around the same amount of coolant , today i found the leak under the rear heater where it connects to the vertical pipe going up inside to the rear heater. Luckily i havent been anywhere in it just starting it up now and then .After squeezing between the garden fence , slithering underneath and banging my head numerous times i can not tell if its coming from where it is joined just above the clip or from further up inside the van. Does anybody know the best way to take the panel off where the rear fan is before i start ordering hoses. To top things off my Main battery has died on me any ideas on decent batteries anyone?

The new battery requirement would be handled by a Bosch S4 335 or 028 or several other 3 digit final number! Several on-line vendors or your local automotive will normally have them in stock

for next - you must use rear radiator from mazda 626(89-91 year), kia pikanto (need cut and replace tube) or from lada priora or hyndai accent (by HALLA)

What your last post tells me is....either your not bleeding it properly with the funnel method or you are getting air sucked into the system. An hour on the funnel is more than enough, you spent 2 hours.

When the Bongo was designed the same de-gassing tank was used for all three engines, however, they ONLY difference was that on the 2l engine they opened up the third hole in the tank and fitted the extra hose to make it self bleeding. Now differences on the production line cost a lot of money - there had to be a reason why they only fitted the extra bits on the 2l engine and not all of them - for some reason self bleeding doesn't work on the diesel or V6, hence my reasoning that they didn't fit the extra pipe.....

Defo would not recommend putting steel seal in...

If the head was goosed I would expect the system to pressurise and the tank overflow pipe to start spitting out coolant.
