That's good news Joy, I'll maybe get a count of people who might want to visit the Hunters Lodge afterwards and give them a warning before the weekend that they may have a few more than normal looking for Sunday lunch!

Phil and I would like to say a big thank you to all those who came by Deerleap on Sunday, so nice to see so many of Edna's friends, several we had never met before (FB virtual friends) as well as those from the Bongo Community both here and on FB.
The weather played its part and stayed nice and sunny for the day, lets hope the Lancashire gathering on the 1st May can be as nice!
Nearly forgot to get a photo as well, so not everybody by any means is in the one below!

Thanks Geoff and family for inviting us today. It was a very special occasion and i"m so glad we made it. Despite the rain and cold we stayed there for a long time after everyone had departed and walked the dogs in tbe bluebell woods. The little model steam train started doing trips around the park and we had lots of nice encounters with friendly dog owners including one lovely cheery Lancashire lass who Victoria Wood would have been proud of - could possibly have been Kimberley. I didn't know Edna well but suspect she'd have approved. Thank you again and see you at the Bash I hope.
Mike and Trish xx

I felt so sad when the music played and your were scattering Edna. But then my heart lifted and that is what Edna would have wanted. We are pleased to have been part of this. Thank you Geoff and Philip.
You will live on Edna xx

Thanks folks for all your thoughts and remembrances at these gatherings, they have all been much appreciated by both myself and Phil.
Whilst the weather wasn't the best at Leyland Edna would have been astounded if all three locations had been brilliant weather!
A couple of images below from the Leyland gathering;
I had planned to bring all of Edna's craft supplies up to the National Bash to raise money for her favourite charity, but have had to revise this as there is just too much, instead I will be donating it all to the charity
http://www.racpauk.org/ who will make use of the materials and tools as they produce and sell the L'arpies;
