All those who I think are still up for this (or possible) should have received a PM with instructions etc and to confirm definite numbers. I have to confirm with them by Thursday to reserve enough places. Our tour is 3pm Saturday 27th February, suggest we meet at 2.
Anyone else who fancies it let me know soonest

we are leaving here at 08:00...... calling in somewhere on the way up before getting to the meet at around 14:00..... weather is supposed to be snowing on Saturday according to the Met Office.....

.....at least they are forecasting sun for the run back on Sunday.....

at this moment in time, for the first time in weeks, its snow free here and the met office say light snow around 1am so fingers crossed is is light so there will be no problems.

well muzorewa thanks a lot for organizing this day out, very enjoyable informative and an excuse to buy more booze.

shame not more people turned out

but perhaps when the weather improves

Thanks again to Muz...... good to meet other Forum members who have just been names up until now........
Thanks to Mr M for assisting in the end part of the relay from darn sarf..........
We went back to Boroughbridge CCC site for the night, well, parked up and wandered into Boroughbridge to the Black Bull...... highly recommended for food and beer.....

another couple of Black Sheep bevvies and good meal....
Then this morning, up at 7...

.... well that's a lay in for me... nice hot shower, fresh clothes and a full english cooked in my new Boaties fry pan...

Recommend the tour to anyone who couldn't make it. Interesting to find out the story behind the Ewings, I mean the Theakstons and what I'm supping down the local ... bit unnerved by the use of burnt witches in the Holy Grail though

well the gods were definitely on our side on saturday we're back to snow now - a lovely day out though so thanks muz - the burnt witch thing was very worrying - thank goodness the witch detector was having a day off - did anyone else spot the charred pyre round the back.
