it's my local and it's not bad for an inland site. Plenty of room to do as you like and a runway to use if you wear body armor. Should be going there myself, but not to sure if I'll be camping as I only live 5 miles away and it will be a dam site warmer. Most wind directions work but I'd say NE - E and Westerlies work best.

Again bit slow me  Foz we actually had a chat on Friday night at Bradicks and I didn't realise you had the Bongo. I'm one of the Swindon lot who was staying in one of the caravans. Bongo was been used as people and kit carrier for the weekend.

Was thinking of doing this one instead of the usual run down to Rhossili. Got a Stag weekend a few weeks before, so I guess it depends on the pennies a bit nearer the time.

Kiting - North Somerset

Hey there
Just purchased my bongo a few weeks ago, and a newbie to kitesurfing too. Did the IKO weeks course in Cyprus at the end of last year. Came back with the kit and been down to Saunton for a blast.
My local beaches are Weston-Super-Mud, Brean and Berrow sands, only a few miles away. Being an established surfer, I generally head down to North Devon, so it covers all bases.
If there's any locals near me who are up for heading to some nearby beaches when the wind and tides are right let me know!

We will be at Atmosphere08 but decided to rent a caravan and not kip in the van as we have friends going too! Having seen the posts about not being able to book camping I'm kinda glad! We have stayed at Braddicks quite few times with the Bongo and for the price of a pitch per night renting the caravan was more economical!

Craigg register on Racekites - Ramsey over there owns a nice Bongo and is often at Saunton.
