Ignition loom for alarm and immobiliser

Thanks Jamie, how hard does it look to you to get to up in the steering cowl

It was a fiddly job.. Best to remove the whole cowl. (Top unclips, bottom 3 screws.) I threaded my alarm wires to follow the existing loom, didn't want them pinched by the height adjustment of the steering mechanism...

Jamie, can you expand a bit on your posting about the door trigger wire (below)?

What's the jam? I'm assuming this is the pressure switch when the door opens and it's in the door frame.


"If you remove one of the door pins from the jam & pull it out.. (one screw.) you should be able to pick up the wire colour from the connection, & pick it up further on inside the foot panel... It also runs up inside the drivers A pillar behind the trim, but that will just cover the front doors."

Then you will know what the wire colour is from checking the connection behind... (Red with a green stripe???)
Also check these switches work & are grounded or the alarm wont trigger if the doors are opened... The cab light should come on when the door opens if they do!
