Kamran sold us a nice vehicle at a very good price. Unfortunately, because of the weather, we didn't check it properly and when I got it back to my mechanic 170 miles away, he pointed out one or two problems. Firstly, some serious corrosion on the chassis and in spots on the rear arches. It required welding. It had been partially concealed by undersealing. So when I raised it with the vendor, his first response of 'I had no idea about this' wasn't very credible. The other issue was a couple of dodgy glow plugs. That aside, my mechanic's assessment was that it is a very good vehicle. Kamran also agreed to refund me some money to cover the welding, so on balance I would say I would do business with him again. In someone else's words, he's a typical back street dealer. He has a lot of stock, and his prices are very reasonable. He's up for a bit of haggling. But unless you are able to check out vehicles thoroughly, I would advise a professional inspection and certainly being able to inspect the underneath of the vehicle. He's not really set up to offer you this. I thought I had done enough of an inspection to be comfortable but I was wrong.

I'll try and get a picture up in due course.
