You don't need to concern yourself with E2-05/06, its not used in this context at all.
The R/B wire on the control switch E2-01 is powered up once the sidelights are on, then operating E2-01 will turn on the relay, E2-02 which should be on the nearside front wing, and this will in turn apply power to the loom and front fog lights.

Hi Geoff,
Thanks for replying whilst on your holiday!
I understand the principles of how it will work, it was more tracing the wires so that i can splice into it at a convenient place.
It would appear that the best option for me would be to cut the red wire at the back of the switch, E2-01, and run a fresh wire from that, to the engine bay, to a relay. This will then act as the trigger wire still, but in a position that suits me as i just don't know where to look in the bay to get the feed. The output in the engine bay, with the 15a fuse, i can use this still to get the main power feed down to the relay. Then it is just a case of running an earth and the wire down to the lights from the other 2 points on the relay.
That will do it and save me wasting a day tracing wires, just hate that there will be another wire coming through the grommet in the bulkhead when there is almost certainly one there already.
Incidentally, i went to my aunts as she has a bongo with fogs and it is not the same. All the relays are there clear as day on the wing! Mine absolutely does not have one there.
Now, my van is early model with no air bag, i read that these don't have headlight relays. My aircon is the mechanical type, no relay for that? So just leaves the tail light relay that is unaccounted for...!

Right if its 1995 version then this applies;

but it ought not to make a difference to the relay! So it looks like something has happened to it in the past!
wiring etc is the same. The sidelights relay is also there so that must have been moved as well .....

Having had a look at that, it doesn't appear that it will help much more with finding the wires. So, i have purchased the cables and a relay, plus the fogs that i will use. May get a chance to do it next weekend and will report back!

No pictures and the wiring needa tidying up a smidge in the engine bay, but my fogs now work, as do the DRL's. Light output of the DRL's is disappointing, but they are juat angel eye type around the fog. Hard to see during daylight, so not exactly good for purpose! But i can easily replace the lights and wire some led strips instead, but i probably won't!
If original fogs were't so over priced, i'd have bought those.
