Hello again,

Almost there now! A couple of updates for the long weekend (also updated the album)

Door for the long cupboard is finally done!


Only thing left is fitting one or two shelves into it. Also need to cover the sides with the same coloured vinyl.


Fitted the worktop (sorry for no progess photos), and gave it a granite look


Layout isn't the best, but works quite well.


There will be two drawers underneath the hob and another door under the sink.


Doors for the gas bottle and water containers section.


More to come next weekend (if the weather is bad ).

Just keep an eye on how hot the cooker gets the wood around it

I know I have only just posted, but hunting around other topics, I can't find any info about the "Official" do's and don'ts about the seat belts. Does anyone know what insurance companies think about diy re-located seatbelts, and will it affect MOT (road legal)?

For the MOT you would have to have secure mountings, Some of the after market seat belt manufacturers supply details of how strong mounts must be, you can also buy mounts to weld in.
Its not just the mounting point but the route the belt takes.
I would assume the insurance co would take the MOT as them being ok but I would see it as a modification so tell them.

I don't like the wood across the front of it fire risk if you ask me

And you want a bit of a gap at each side aswell
And the hole through the floor

I've seen a vw camper van go bang
Bloke at a festi camped opposite us came home opend side door got in put kettle on and bang
A ball of flames came out door about 6ft
Quickly followed by a diving man
He and van was ok
