...and all the rain too
Haydn had the worlds only demountable / quick release hi top. Not sure where he bought it from but I believe companies like Wheelquick in Wigan fit them so may be able to advise. It will undoubtedly count as a modification for insurance purposes and as it also forms part of the structural integrity of the vehicle it would we wise to pay to have it fitted professionally.

Thanks for all the help guys, Bongo is booked in to get the roof looked at by a bodyshop, hopefully not too expensive otherwise I may need more help to do it ourselves.

It may well pay to get a price from a Bongo Friendly garage to fit a second hand replacement unless you are going ahead with the High Top soon.

Here are a couple of used roofs for sale around about the £250 mark, although transport to Scotland may be tricky:

There are a few breakers up your way so if you can get one at a good price it may be cheaper and easier than a repair.

May even pay to take Bongy to the roof rather than ship it.

Has anyone else seen this happen? Going to be a bit paranoid about overnight snow now if camping!

That must of been some heavy snow to snap it like that
I'd bet someone forgot the roof was up and backed it into a garage

I'd have thought it was more that the roof was put up when snow was on top of it rather than it was already up. doesn't matter now though, it's bust.
a temporary repair would be aluminium plate and rivets (its about all that holds racing hovercraft together) but it wont be pretty.

There should be plenty of room to repair the sides on the inside with ally struts and fill the outside won't look to bad
The top will only be seen when up so repair on outside

Thanks for all the advice guys, it would appear our trusting nature got the best of us after taking it to our garage they have said there is no way this was snow damage but that the roof is jammed, trust us for believing the garages story. Hopefully the repair will not be too costly otherwise some roof shopping on the cards.
