Why? Haha! What a question! Given the choice, would you watch TV in standard definition if you could watch the same channel in HD?

Music is recorded, mixed and mastered on speakers that accurately reproduce 10 octaves (20 Hz to 20 kHz). The paper cones that come as standard in the Bongo probably only manage 80 Hz to 10 kHz, so you're missing 3 octaves out of 10 octaves! Lots of genres of music that I like, e.g. reggae, sound much better with the bass turned up, and the only way to get loud bass is with a big sub.
