Each to their own - V6er all the way - if you can stretch to a lpg conversion even better as it's on average between 35 and 40% cheaper than petrol.............lush

Ours is a side convert and we love him. Our first season just drawing to an end apart from a birthday weekend with the wife and I.

I did contemplate an LPG conversion but don't think I'll do enough miles to make it worth it.

I bought a 2.5 diesel with side conversion from Freespirit about 18 months ago, it's been a great vehicle. Did a trip to the south of France this year in it. Three of us Kathy, Tui (the dog) and me lived in it for 3 weeks we drove over 2000 miles, it never put a foot wrong. Hope you have as much fun with your new home on wheels.

As the man said "each to there own"
But got to agree with Terry. Having driven all three the diesel is noisy, the v6 thirsty and the 2ltr is just fine providing you don't want to tow a tank.

Regards Gray.

...and the diesel is not noisy, esp. when cruising, and especially after I lined the undertray with some carpet

Yes - If your diesel is noisy there is something wrong with it.

Noisier than a petrol at tickover maybe, but not noisier over all.

I'm still looking for a Bongo (that I can afford) ... got to be a pop top V6 / LPG for me ... can't see past them ..

I took my Toyota Emina in today for her yearly gas service / filter change / lap top tune up .. cost £40 .. and with gas @ 66p a litre I don't grumble..
