It's more of a strainer really to stop any crap going in. Part 32-503 - http://www.lushprojects.com/bongopartsm ... 1of02.html
You can't polish a turd - but you can roll it in glitter.

Was out on my bike yesterday enjoying the sun instead - very sore ass today :) (Bike rack enquiries likely to follow as putting bikes inside could get messy !) But I would like to make it along to a meetup sometime, be nice put some faces to forum names :)

I did have a quick look again and do see the filter/strainer in the power steering tank, and i did find the gearbox dipstick which was cunningly disguised in back rubber, so I know where to look tomorrow.

Glad to see my beginners questions are adding to the collective knowledge !!!

Expect more...bike racks when thers a spoiler, does the rear wiper have to be a bongo one(looking for a cheap used option!), i need a spare wheel, what do I look for? I expect these may have ben asked and answered elsewhere so i'm off for a look.

Appreciating the help x

If you can't find a full sized spare wheel then I have a skinney that you can have for free.

Yay! Power steering fluid topped up and the whine has gone :)

Thanks for the offer of the skinny spare Mr dogs bollox - I've yet to go looking for a spare, but think that full sized is what to look for? Do I have to get a "bongo" wheel, or is there some sort of generic thing i should ask about for? Does a full sized wheel fit underneath like the skinny one?

full size spare will fit in space for spare ok. You need to make sure the wheel is right. I am sure people will let you have one for free if you post up in the wanted section.
