How much petrol did you put in? If its no more than 10 litres or so, you shouldn't have any problems. I put in over 20 litres before I realised I'd done it, drove home ok, pumped some of the petrol diesel mix out & chucked in some veg oil, wasn't exactly happy for the first few starts, but gave it a good clean out

Argh - but not all is lost how much did you put in and any idea how much was there already ?
The
AA Site suggests that if its less than 10% petrol you might get away with it - but I have no experience or knowledge in this area at all of my own!
Hopefully others will be along shortly - the rest may be stuck in the garage draining there fuel out ....

Put in 20 litres petrol on to about 30 derv... that's about 40%ish, drove home from garage 2/3 miles.. went to start it about an hour latter, not happy but did start, thought to myself "maybe not good derv"........at 99.9 per litre OH F#### it! Asked her in doors to keep revs up to 1000+ while hunted for cash...plan to go and fill it to the top, see if that would work? Engine stopped, her NOT happy, should be picking up her cousin up from airport NOW. AA want £260 from non member £180 if AA... any way not at weekends, not a break down, STUPIDITY ! Think I'll open that bottle now.

If you've got acces to a pela pump or similar, pump some out & chuck some veg oil in to top it up to the top, bit thicker than diesel, go for a nice long run, then fill up with some more veg oil & then diesel, should be ok (usual disclaimers apply

). Even if you can't pump it out, I reckon you should be ok doing the veg oil - long run then top up thing.

I lube my sliding door on occasions, but never had any real problems...
However. If i do on the odd occasion feel resistance rolling it back i slide the door towards the closed position an inch (or two) then roll back.. It seems to roll open smoothly..
