What's a tall fellow like you doing with a Spitfire?

If you are still on your nightly prowls of Falmouth at 6.30/7am ish you will probably be able to hear the GT6 as hubby shatters the silence on his way to or from work

If you do come prowling around drooling, do it quietly, as the highly trained attack toddler sleeps in the front room so twill be he with his catapult and boiling oil you have to deal with if he thinks you're messing with his inheritance!!!!

You're more than welcome to come and drool during sometime when the majority of the world is awake (including my husband). Will give him the chance to talk to someone over 3 years old who's actually listening

Comfortable once in.... in & out were problematic though. If I'd had a GT6 I would probably have just stayed in it!

Sadly my prowling occurs between 10.30pm & 4am & as I'm there to keep the noise down so people can sleep I don't suppose it would do to bang on your door at that time Would love to nose around the GT6 though so if I'm ever coming in to Falmouth at a reasonable time I'll drop you a pm.

Ah Triumph Herald, I had three, a saloon,(with reserve fuel tank) an estate and a coupe, loved em all, still remember the reg no's, 98FBX, 7278 DF and 992FKA, showing my age now but oh how I wish I still had em especially as now all parts, even the floor are replaceable. They were cars.

You can't be that old if you're still capable of remembering the registration numbers!

Briefly thought I might start a separate "Who has owned or still owns a Triumph?" thread on the "Off Message" forum but have thought better of it in case my husband starts showing an interest in this wonderful forum and then finds out how much time I spend on here while he's at work (I do not tell the truth when I give my reasons for him tripping over our son's playmobil when he stumbles in at 7am after a 12 hour shift )
