Thanks Francophile. It's comforting to know it's probably not a huge problem. I took the old girl (the Bongo, not Mrs D2000) over to Martin at DRA Import Services the other day, for a recon steering rack. Martin said he thought it sounded like a sensor problem and said he'd take a look. Fingers crossed......
